ASHEVILLE, N.C. (February 28, 2020) – For the third straight year, Mission Health was selected as the official Health Partner of the SoCon Basketball Tournament.
Under the partnership, Mission Sports Medicine’s orthopedic and primary care sports medicine physicians will oversee care for Division I Men’s and Women’s student athletes, providing primary, emergency, musculoskeletal and concussion care.
“We are excited to provide medical coverage again this year for the SoCon tournament, ensuring their health and safety as they play,” said Shelli Landis, Manager of Mission Sports Medicine. “This event is important to our community, and we are honored to be a part of it.”
Founded in 2011, Mission Sports Medicine serves athletes of all ages throughout western North Carolina, providing care based entirely around the needs of the active individual.
Tournament play will take place from Thursday, March 5 to Monday, March 9 at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center.
