Mission Health Marketing and Communications Receives Gold at National Awards Ceremony

Stephen ZubrodASHEVILLE, N.C. (June 17, 2019) – On June 5, 2019, Mission Health’s Marketing and Communications team received two nationally-recognized awards during the Hospital Marketing National Southeast Conference in Atlanta. Amongst six categories and four award levels – gold, silver, bronze and honorable mention – the team took home two gold awards for Best Digital/Social Media Campaign for the My Healthy Life Podcast and related blog, and Best Website for missionhealth.org.

The sixth annual Hospital Marketing National Advertising Awards showcase exemplary work spanning multiple media and therapeutic disciplines.

These awards come after the recent launch of Mission: You, Mission Health’s new brand campaign that demonstrates our renewed commitment to caring for western North Carolina. The campaign’s theme, “The best care with the most care,” is a focal point across our website and social media channels.

“Marketing is a team sport and our team continues to show how tremendously talented it is,” Stephen Zubrod, Mission Health’s vice president of system marketing and communications, said. “Our new campaign reinforces why we are in healthcare; to serve our patients, physicians, nurses, employees and our communities. Our Mission is to serve You!”

At the awards ceremony, three healthcare marketing professionals were also inducted into the Hospital Marketing National Hall of Fame, one of those individuals being Stephen. The Hall of Fame Award honors individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievement in the advancement of marketing of hospitals or healthcare facilities.

WooHoo! Congratulations to Stephen on this lifetime achievement, and congratulations to our Marketing and Communications team on these awards.
