Mission Health Recognized as a “Top 8 Health System” for Strong Financial Performance

Rating Agencies Cite ‘Strong Operational Metrics and Solid Financial Positions

ASHEVILLE, NC (March 21, 2018) – Mission Health is among eight of the nation’s strongest financially performing health systems in the United States according to Becker’s Hospital Review, the nation’s leading source of healthcare finance and business news. Becker’s reports the top eight performing health systems were compiled from recent credit rating reports from Moody’s Investors Service, Fitch Ratings and S&P Global Ratings, the nation’s leading rating agencies. “Mission Health System has an ‘Aa3’ rating and stable outlook with Moody’s. Mission Health has a strong market position, and Moody’s expects the system to maintain favorable financial performance and healthy liquidity as it enters the final phase of a multiyear construction project,” the report cites. “We couldn’t be more-proud of our team at Mission Health,” said Ronald A.
