SPRUCE PINE, N.C. (Oct. 4, 2016) – Expanded hours, and faster access to an array of services, will mean more choices for patients at the new Urgent Care location on the campus of Blue Ridge Regional Hospital.
The Urgent Care opened Oct. 3 in the Mauzy-Phillips Center, 189 Hospital Drive. It had been located at Mission Community Primary Care – Grassy Creek, 11728 NC 226 South, in Spruce Pine.
The Urgent Care will be open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Urgent Care patients, and their providers, will be closer to the hospital and the numerous services offered in the Mauzy-Phillips Center.
“Bringing Urgent Care services onto the hospital campus is part of our goal of offering an exceptional experience for patients, their families and our caregivers,” said Becky Carter, President of Blue Ridge Regional Hospital. “The expanded hours, and the convenient location this move provides, means patients have more choices and more access to high-quality care close to home.”
