Marion, N.C. (March 17, 2016) – Applications are now available for the 2016-2017 McDowell Hospital Healthcare Scholarship. These scholarships may be used for tuition and fees related to the applicant’s course work in a medical or healthcare field at an accredited North Carolina university or community college. The scholarship is open to all McDowell County residents enrolled in and/or entering a fully accredited North Carolina associate, bachelor’s or master’s program in the medical or healthcare field.
Applications must be postmarked no later than May 20, 2016. No late applications will be accepted. In addition to the application, submission of the applicant’s most recent certified transcript of grades is required. Applicants are also asked to submit two letters of reference by the deadline.
